Slots are filling up and we are expecting another great season. Some sheep slots are still available along with those great combination opportunities! We believe you will be hard pressed to find greater potential for combination hunts than what we have in the surrounding country around our base camp! It is definitely time to get on board and if you need additional info just give us a shout and check out our photos from this past season if you need further convincing!
Our sheep hunts continue at 100% for those who stay the course and we continue to find some incredible rams in this area we now call our home base! We still have slots available for this year and last year we had one of our clients take this incredible 43" ram that fell just shy of the all time B&C score of 170 after the drying time!
Brian took this ram with us on the opener and returned later to take a great late season bull moose with his bow and a B&C caribou on this combo!
I can't stress the potential for successful combos in this area enough! Having guided extensively in three of the five major mountain ranges of Alaska I can say unequivocally this is the greatest area I have been in for a host of different combination hunt offerings! Whether you want to pursue sheep/grizzly, moose/caribou or a number of other potential combinations including a 3 species 14 day offering we have the place for you!
Now is the time to get your hunt booked, or if you are interested in a single species hunt just let us know! Give me a shout at 907 982 2426 or simply e-mail email@example.com for more info!
To say the least it was a year of adventure. On a personal level, spiritual level and in regards to the hunting it was pretty phenomenal.
I was honored to have married the most beautiful woman in the world, Renee Santostefano in June of this year and we thank God that we were able to spend time together, both before season and during season at the main cabin in Alaska, and I simply thank God and my love for allowing me the opportunity to be a devoted and passionate husband until the end of my days here on this earth!
So many stories from this year when it comes to hunting that it will take a while to put them all into writing and get them posted in the article section but stay tuned. We had 4 out of 4 brown bear bear hunters score ont he Peninsula this spring with a couple bears going over 9' and a great hunter who booked with us for sheep in August and moose/caribou in September taking 3 out of 3 species pursued and two of these being Boone & Crockett entries. Haven't got the release yet due to his TV show and a magazine article to post the pics, but the hammer of a ram was 43" and the caribou bull scored in the mid 420's! More moose on the ground and some hard earned rams and one of the most memorable father/son hunts I have evder had the privilege of being on brought the season to a close, so check out the 2016 pics as I get them posted and keep an eye out for the B&C pics when I get the release to publish them!
Still room to get on board for this year, in particular still have room for the opening slots for sheep and the full rut slot for moose and late season brown bear so give us a shout! 907 982 2426!
Make sure to read Derek Harbula's article from Spring 2016 Peninsula brown bear hunt.
We are now booking for 2017 brown bear season on the Peninsula, and still have a good number of opportunities left for moose and fall grizzly/brown bear, caribou and even a slot left for sheep as well. Success was great last year and our camps continue to get some new enhancements in the Alaska Range, so now is the time to book if you are wanting to hunt in 2016-2017 and be the main character in our next success story.
It looks like we are going to have a great season lined up with many great clients on the books and some great combination hunts lined up and a good schedule lined up for the spring Peninsula hunts as well.
We do have some remaining slots for the 21st through the 30th of May on the Peninsula and a good number of opportunities left for moose and fall grizzly/brown bear, caribou and even a slot left for sheep as well. Success was great last year and our camp continue to get some new enhancements in the Alaska Range so now is the time to book if you are wanting to hunt in 2016!
Time to get on board for the few remaining slots for this coming spring on the Alaska Peninsula @ $17,500 and while you are thinking about it check out our latest video clip from one of our last hunts there!

One slot still remains for anyone wanting to hunt the season opener on the world famous Alaska Peninsula for the brown bear of a lifetime. This hunt will run from October 1st-10th and the client will fly commercially into Iliamna before being picked up by us to fly into the bush. Great success rates, great opportunities on big bears, and great guides, and the price is a couple grand less than most of our competitors @ $16,000. This really is a limited time offer so give us a call, or drop us a line below! 304 239 0860 or 907 982 2426
We have been at this for quite some time now, for me it is my 20th year, and things come and go, but the grace of God has always been the consistent element in my life, and in this business, and certainly we believe it has been grace poured out upon us with the recent developments for our outfit. As we contemplated and began working toward the goal of acquiring a permit to build a base camp cabin in the Alaska Range, we encountered an offer that was, by any stretch of the imagination, just too good for us to ignore. One of the longest licensed Master Guides in the state offered to let us take over 2 cabins and another camp that he and his father and uncle had run for years, beginning in the early 70's right in the middle of our main hunt area in the Western Alaska Range.
We consider it an honor to be able to take up operations in these historic locations, and of course it has been a tremendous blessing that has saved us a truckload of work and paperwork, and we can only say that we are extremely excited about the opportunities the cabins and tent frame camp will provide for us this season and in the years ahead. Facilitating our sheep operations has become so much more streamlined, and it appears that we may even be able to actually sheep hunt directly from one cabin, and certainly from the tent frame camp, and all locations offer great opportunities for our combo hunters, moose hunters, and grizzly hunters.
We are pretty much down to the wire here on hunt openings for this year, but we still have some possible slots left, and several openings for the October Peninsula brown bear hunts which will be greater than ever, but minus the cabins!
We still have room for hunters in Game Management Unit 9 for October brown bear, and I can't emphasize what a great hunt this going to be. It isn't a back breaking, physically demanding hunt, though the hunter that is in shape can always take advantage of opportunities that the out of shape hunter may not be able to seize upon, the truth remains most of our bears will be harvest less than a mile from where you are camped. This is a 10 day one hunter per one guide hunt @ $16,000 and this is all inclusive from the time you leave Iliamna to your return to this departure point, with the exception of license and tag fee and your tips. Camps are comfortable with home cooked entrées, cots and tents that you can stand and get dressed in, and most importantly, plenty of bears, managed for true trophy potential!#brownbearhunts
